Lauren Bacall (1924-2014) met Humphrey Bogart on the set making a movie in Hollywood in 1944. They were married in 1945 and had 2 children before Bogart died of cancer in 1957. Bacall married Jason Robards in 1961 and had one child but the marriage did not last very long. Bacall gave an interview several years ago and said Humphrey Bogart was the love of her life. Crescent Moon - The Beauty of the Moon Crescent Moon - The Beauty of the Moon The moon is fasinating and I am especially fond of the full moons each month. On November 5, 2013, the crescent moon (7%) was so beautiful and bright against the black sky.
Moon myths and legends are so important and have been passed down for hundreds of years going back to King Solomon. "Crescent Moons" are popular used in paintings and jewelry.

When you live in Washington, DC, there are memorials all over town , including this one to Thomas Jefferson, one of my favorite founding fathers and one of the authors of the Declaration of Independence.
