Triple Creek is located next to Balm-Boyette Scrub Nature Preserve. The 5,000-acre preserve features 21.5 miles of hiking and biking trails.
Sounds like a great community, eh?  Well....this … (7 comments)

Everytime I drive past this community, I want to drive through it.  I'm not sure what it is, but I just love this community.  I love the style of homes and the way they designed the shops and restaurants within walking distance of this community.
The homes were designed in a Key West style with large porches and white picket fences and the nearby shops and restaurants at the Winthrop Town Center were designed to feel like an old town.  With brick paved steets and sidewalks, restaurants where you can eat outside while listening to live music, movies on the … (0 comments)

new construction: What happens if a builder goes belly-up while building a community? - 11/09/07 11:59 AM
Anyone have any idea?  I am really curious what happens to the community if people are already living there.  I have been reading a lot of stories of builders that bought land and started the process of developing a community and then filed bankruptcy and the community now just sits vacant with the land cleared with the roads put in, but nothing else was started.  But what happens if it's already been started and people are living there?
So what happens then if people are already living in the community that never gets finished?  Say they were supposed to build 200 homes, but … (6 comments)

new construction: Thinking about purchasing New Construction? You need your own agent!!! - 06/12/07 03:43 AM
Sure you're thinking "Why do I need an agent? I'll just use the agent or sales consultant at the New Construction office."
Well....you better reconsider that option!!That agent or sales consultant works for the builder.  So who do you think that agent or sales consultant really represents? Let me give you a hint....not you!  Those agents are going to have the builders best interest at hand, not yours.
Commissions are paid for by the seller (the builder). You save no money by going directly through the builder without an agent. Commissions are already built into the price of the home automatically. They … (3 comments)
