This is a great photo-based idea for your sphere. Ask them to submit pictures of their friends and family in costume for a contest. Give away a Starbucks, Home Depot or other gift card. It will produce a lot of content for you and it will make your clients and friends feel like a part of your world.

Your Realty Idea Per Day today is...Time and battery changes. We all think of changing our clocks but we also need to remind people to change their batteries in your smoke and CO detectors. I offer to bring batteries to my sphere and help them change it for them. It's a great pop by idea and it can be a life-saving suggestion. What do you do for time change? You can also get suggestions and graphics on a variety of sites.

Today's marketing idea: REALTORS DON'T GET SNOW DAYS.
Snow and Ice days are GREAT days to market. Everyone you know is stuck at home and most likely on their social media. Be there with them. Post tips about protecting your home from freezing pipes. Post about how keep your furnace working at peak efficiency. Post pictures of the ice and snow and share them around. Do whatever you can to remind people you're in their world and you are their home expert.

What is it you do to provide value? Give yourself a blank page and list all the things you bring to the table. Then either share that with your clients and sphere or just keep it for yourself to remind you how valuable you are. Don't sell yourself short either. What is it that sets you apart? You are unique and valuable. Let people know why. If you can't come up with a reason, then you might want to do some coaching with someone because you have value and you need to see it before anyone else can.

Today's marketing idea: Are you running Facebook, YouTube or Linked In Ads? How are your results. Our best results come when we ask a question and target the audience as closely as possible. It's one thing to get a lot of responses. It's another to get clients. If you're not running ads, post something on your Facebook Business page and run a short ad to see how it works. It's worth it.

Pick one of these that you don't currently us and spent 20 minutes finding out how they can affect your business. There are training videos on YouTube about each of these. Step outside your comfort zone and grow a bit. No, you're not too busy. No, it's not too confusing. Let's just do it.

Today's marketing idea: Happy Mardi Gras!! Ask your clients what they would give up for lent. Wait, that's what they expect. INSTEAD ask them what they would give up in their home. What is the one think they don't like about their home that they would really want to do differently in their next home. Then, send them a few ideas of homes that fit that desire.

Today's marketing idea: I've been doing several Pick 4 questions lately and getting good response. I do these to keep my interactions going with clients. For example I'll show 4 bedrooms and ask clients which one they like most (see below). I did the same with bathrooms, breakfast foods and kitchens.
Get your friends and clients commenting and then comment back during the day. Build your social media weight.

Today's marketing idea: Farming By Google Maps. Today spend about 5 minutes on Google Maps looking at the territory you cover. Scroll across those cities and neighborhoods and look for areas that you don't know well or where you haven't had clients yet. Target that area for postcards, social media hits or meet up events.
