The new park located near the Narrows bridge is called Tubby's after a black cocker spaniel that went down when the original bridge named the Galloping Gertie collapsed on Nove, 7, 1940. Tubby was the only one who passd on that frightful day. The fully fenced 9 acre park is easily accessible by anyone and has two seperate areas, one for dogs under 25lbs and one for all dogs. Not only does it contain lots of acerage for running and chasing balls, it also contains foot trails that go up the hillside and into the surrounding trees.
