Bele Chere means “Beautiful living” in an ancient Scottish dialect, and that’s just what nearby Asheville, North Carolina will be celebrating this weekend! What started as a three-block festival over three decades ago is now a city-wide event in Asheville. Always held the last weekend in July, this year’s event holds July 27-29, 2012. The Bele Chere is a three-day street festival – one of the most popular in the Southeast! This free festival features live music all day and night for all festival-goers. It is a wonderful chance to experience the best in Asheville’s food, art, and music firsthand. (0 comments)
