new years day: The 14th Annual Dolphin Dip Extravaganza!

For multiple years, we, The Cameron Team, have been sponsors for a local event called The Dolphin Dip. This is North Carolina’s version of a Polar Dip. On New Year’s Day, a few thousand people converge at the Roland Avenue beach access in Surf City, NC, and, at the sound of a starting pistol, plunge into the freezing water at noon. It’s great fun and people look forward to it every year.
