Since I was a little girl I have always loved the fair. Of course when I was a little girl the Fall Fair was where all the farmers brought their best produce and best livestock to be judged and school children entered their best art work and penmanship (Peter Putnum and I always vied for the top spot in penmanship we were always 1 and 2 through 4th grade - isn't it funny the things you remember?) and then there were a few amusement rides.
