It's that time of year again when the produce is starting to come in. I don't know about you but I love fresh local produce, it tastes better and I can't help but think that if we buy local it supports the local community.
There are several farmer's markets that are in the Lutherville area:
Maryland State Fair Grounds - opening Wednesdays starting June 3. They'll be open from 10 am to 1pm
Kenilworth Farmers Market in Towson - open Tuesdays started May 5. They are open 3pm to 6pm

The Towson, MD Farmer's Market is Off to a Rousing Start
Local farmers, crafters, businesses and bakers were all present for the first Towson Farmer's Market yesterday. The market opens at 10:45 am and runs throughn 3pm every Thursday until November 22, 2012.
Allegheny Street between the traffic circle at York Road and Washington Avenue will be closed for the weekly farmers market, The Towson Chamber of Commerce sponsors the market in order to spotlight local businesses and downtown Towson.
Along with fare from the restaurants along Allegheny Avenue the farmers market boasts fruits, vegetables, flowers, bedding plants, Baltimore County wines, … (0 comments)
