fairfax county schools: Transferring to Coast Guard Headquarters, What about the Kids?

I work with a lot of Coast Guard personnell who usually end up at one point in their career at Coast Guard Headquarters. Many of them are moving with families and school age children, so I am often asked the following question:“Where are the good schools?”My answer to that question is: “all over Northern Virginia”. But don’t take my word for it. Newsweek magazine ranks high schools throughout the country on an annual basis.
