Lets look back at 2020 and lets look ahead to see what the 2021 Real Estate market may be like here in the Manchester NH area. Record sales came to a halt in December of 2020 as the market slowed. We are seeing an incredible shortage of homes listed for sale. We saw a drop in interest rates this December. We also see many Buyers and Sellers not sure whether to Buy or Sell NOW or WAIT until spring.

The stats are out for the month of November, and it has been a strange year as far as stats! As of the end of November, we are experiencing SERIOUS low inventory, down 46.4% over one year ago. I think many Sellers are nervous about listing their homes while we are seeing the virus, and combined with the Holidays, there is not much inventory.

On December 3, 2020, Realtor.com reported that nationwide median list price of a home was $996,994 in November of 2020 rose 16.1% from November of 2019.
The active listing inventory of homes were lower 18.8% in November of 2020 from November of 2019; while new listing inventory gained 10.0% in November of 2020 from November of 2019.
Houses stayed 54 days in the market in November of 2020 dropped 17.0% from 65 days in November of 2019 in Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, California according to Realtor on December 3, 2020.
