As most of us in California know, we need to vote NO on Prop 8 this election. I created a website for the Rainbow Community Center and have been maintaining it for the past year or so as a donation. The center has youth drop in, free HIV testing, groups, food for seniors, and so much more. So in an effort to get more support for the center, I am going to start blogging in localism about some of their invents. This one in particular sounds like fun. Tens of thousands California residents are being sprayed under the cover of night with pesticides containing partly unknown chemicals. These sprayings, conducted inadequate health studies, are done not to protect residents from a clear and present public health danger, but rather to protect special interests worried about eradicating the Light Brown Apple Moth (LBAM).The LBAM spray operations in Central Coast counties of Monterey and Santa Cruz resulted in over 600 reports of health illnesses. Still looking - can anyone help? We have rented to them before (we have a property management company), but we currently have nothing available. They have 4 very nice kids, so at least 3 bedrooms would be best and they would love to be in an area where their son can attend Ayers Elementary. They are quiet, clean and responsible and will take great care of your rental. They are hoping for $1,400/month but can possibly go a bit higher.
