T.G.I.Friday's at Pleasanton is supporting the RCC! Wednesday, Jan 27 The Rainbow Community Center and T.G.I Friday's are partnering to raise funds for our Kind Hearts Food Pantry. Present this flyer on January 27th at the T.G.I Friday's in Pleasanton and 20% of generated food sales will go back to the RCC. Additionally, T.G.I. A Message from RCC's Board Chair: We started 2009 with high hopes and optimistic expectations for our Country and for our Community. We also started the year concerned about the economy, jobs and the impact of this major economic downturn on our families, our communities and ourselves. I volunteer on occasion for the Rainbow Community Center, and I maintain their website as a donation. I especially love their youth program. My daughter and I went to a Christmas event and the teens were SO nice to her, and even let her play pool with them though she was 8 at the time. As most of us in California know, we need to vote NO on Prop 8 this election. I created a website for the Rainbow Community Center and have been maintaining it for the past year or so as a donation. The center has youth drop in, free HIV testing, groups, food for seniors, and so much more. So in an effort to get more support for the center, I am going to start blogging in localism about some of their invents. This one in particular sounds like fun.
