Those of you who know me, know I love to hike and walk and enjoy the outside activities our area has to offer. I try to get some type of exercize everyday and Kingsport has a fabulous Greenbelt walking trail in the center of the city. I had heard about this trail many times, but walked the Kingsport Greenbelt Trail for the first time yesterday afternoon. What a delight it was. We had a fantastic time. The weather was hot hot hot..... This picture was taken of Rachel and Walker. They had no idea I was behind them! So funny, than I texted the picture to them. We were hidden in the tunnel so we watched them turn around in shock. Pretty fun to mess with your kids. We were also treated to a 5-1 win, Braves over Blue Jays.

I was driving to one of my new listings today and looked out to my right. What a view. I had to stop the car and start shooting pictures. Then I drove a few more minutes up the road and had to pull over again. My goodness we live in such a beautiful place. Tri-Cities Tennessee is certainly an amazing place to live.

Warrior Path is a State Park in Kingsport Tennessee. It offers an array of activities including Golf, Walking trails, hiking, biking, boating, all sorts of water activities, Frisbee golf and my personal favorite, mountain bike Trails. The trails are some of the best. They have skill levels from beginning to expert and wind through mountainous forest area. If mountain biking is your gig, you must visit Warriors State Park trails in Kingsport Tennessee.

Downtown Kingsport Tennessee is an older city and has so much character. The buildings are older, brick, historic looking. There is an area called "Church Circle" where the whole "circle" surrounds a tree filled boulevard with several Churches standing proudly on the roads creating the circle. It's breathtaking.
The downtown Kingsport area has many shops, restaurants and everything is in walking distance. It's a great walking city.

I walked out of my closing today and looked up at this sign that separates Bristol Tennessee and Bristol Virginia. State Street is the dividing road that defines the two cities/states.

Northeast Tennessee, beautiful, green, lucious green countryside. Northeast Tennessee also makes us think of Mountains, rainfall, blue skis and rivers. This picture was taken on the porch of one of the lovely homes I have listed at 4055 Old Snapps Ferry Road in Limestone Tennessee, off the front porch.
Can you imagine waking up to a scene like this? This home at 4055 Old Snapps Ferry Road is a delightful home with over 1800 finished square feet, full unfinished basement and 8.33 acre. I don't have to tell you about the views!

So many cities have rid themselves of their local newspaper. This has not hit our local area yet. Yet, being the key word. My hometown newspaper is gone (The Ann Arbor News) It really made me sad when this happened. I remember my paper route as a child, me and my brother folding papers and riding our bikes after school delivering the paper. Than on Saturdays, walking downtown to pay out dues. I'm having a great week so far having fun with non real estate blog type posts. Everyone needs a break now and than! I had so much fun Sunday walking through my girl friends Wig shop. It was closed and I was free to play around. I'm thinking wigs may be kind of fun. I did find a cute bob type style with streaks of red that I considered. Hey, no more bad hair days! I find the bottom picture kind of creepy.....

Tri-Cities Tennessee is located in the middle of everything! You are one to four hours away from so many great activities and beauty, no matter which direction you turn. Last week-end we stopped off in Charlotte North Carolina and visited the downtown area. (3 hour drive from the Tri-Cities.) This week-end we are going to Asheville North Carolina, just a mere 1 hour drive over the mountain.
