The Charlotte Area is 1 of 5 areas in the United States that home values rose in 2007. Amongst all the media driven panic about the housing market going bad, five areas in the United States gained home values in a year that most areas lost value. Many people have been wondering when the highway NC 16 bypass that will go through parts of Denver (NC) and Cawtaba will be open to traffic. The current 4 lane section of NC 16 that runs from heart of the city (Charlotte) and turns into a 2 lane road just prior to the Lincoln County line around Killian Road. The newly planned constructed bypass will start where the current 4 lane section stops and ultimatly continue all the way to Interstate 40.
