In the Northern Virginia area many of my friends and clients have been impacted by the shutdown and now have to adjust their plans. I heard from friends that are canceling vacations, others are not buying the new car they wanted and then other are not moving forward with buying or selling their home due to the uncertainty of what's going on with the shutdown.

  Our local Woodbridge VA Real Estate market is heavily dependent on the Federal Government. Think about it how many of your neighbors work for the Federal Government? I can think about several of my clients that are working for the Federal Government and that have put their Real Estate plans on hold until this shut down is resolved. Some even think further and will be waiting until the debt ceiling debate has been resolved.
