One of the Clay Team's favorite places to eat in Brevard, NC is The Square Root. It's located in the alley between Main Street and Jordan Street making it a perfect place to pop into for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is totally delicious. The historic building was once the home of the Transylvania Times newspaper and has been restored with a great touch that exudes a combination of art gallery-loft-restaurant. Transylvania County in western North Carolina is celebrating it's 150 year anniversary with events all year long. Coming up in April is a Sequicentennial Bluegrass Gospel Concert featuring the Cockman Family with Soul Vision. The group will be playing in the Brevard High School Auditorium at 747 Country Club Road, Brevard, NC 28712 on Saturday April 2, starting at 7:00 pm.
