law: Should NAR impose increased standards? Tiered Status? Higher Fees?

I am a professional, full-time Realtor in a market with about 10,000 members in the Washington, DC area. I guesstimate that nearly half of the membership likely have full-time jobs elsewhere but hold their active license due the overall low fees involved and ease of renewal. The problem lies in the fact that these part-timers who may do a transaction a year fail to keep up with the changing market conditions and create potential issues for their clients and/or mine. We have our clients sign a document that states we are not attorneys, accountants, home inspectors and the like but in (28 comments)
