boa: Bank Update That Will Make you Smile - 10/17/12 12:55 AM
I was watching the boys of the TBWS show this morning and started chuckling; they have a way of presenting information that is humorous while being informative.
Take a look at what is going on with several of the big banks - BOA, Citi, and Wells Fargo.  I hope this brings a smile to your face like it did mine.

Good Morning...Here is what the boys are talking about today; "HELP" Homeowners Equity and Liquidity Pathway.  This may be an effective way to help the housing industry;  To me it sounds like it has possibilities.  They also talk about BOA and the deal they cut with the government for improperly done foreclosures; and Fannie Mae's finances.

Good Morning…Here is today’s  report from the Think Big Work Small Guys.  Today the boys are talking about BOA getting a back door bail out from the Feds.  It seems BOA is being sued by AIG for toxic mortgage backed securities BOA acquired from Country Wide and Merrill Lynch.  When BOA wanted to back out of the acquisition the Feds force the deal and promised BOA that they would purchase half the bad debt through a Fannie purchase; creating a back door bail out.

Good Morning…Here is today’s  report from the Think Big Work Small Guys.  Today the boys are talking about Bank of America once again.  It seems BOA is trying to work out a deal with state and federal officials to receive Legal Forgiveness for past and future Illegal Foreclosures and Loan Modifications.  In order for Modifications to work standardized rules must be enforced for everyone; BOA doesn't seem to understand this.

Good Morning...Here is today's market update from the Think Big Work Small Guys.  Today's discussion is on Maternity Discrimination in Lending.  HUD has fined Cornerstone $750,000 for using pregnancy as a determining factor in Loan approvals; HUD is looking at other Lenders.
And, did you hear about the couple in Collier County, Florida who purchase a home and Bank of America foreclosed on it in error.  After BOA refused to reimburse the couple fees accrued, the couple went to court and Foreclosed on BOA.  The Sheriff and Attorney accompanied a van to the bank and seized its computers and other assets; BOA issued a … (2 comments)

Good Morning...Here is today's market update from the Think Big Work Small Guys.   This morning the boys talk about the possible come back of procecution of subprime lenders such as Morgage Lenders Network USA and American Home Lenders; these lenders have been paying a document storage company $16,000 a month to store 18,000 boxes of documents, which they now want to destroy without storing on a hard drive - The speculation is up to interpretation. Chase has overcharged some military families by not lowering their mortgage rate, which is the law.  Bank Of America cutting back, by 6 days, the grace period to make your payment in … (1 comments)

Good Morning...Here is today's market update from the Think Big Work Small Guys.  Today the boys discuss Wikileaks getting ready to release documents showing and eco system of Corporate corruption in America with BOA's actions being an indictment in itself (where there's smoke there's fire), and the Feds over stepping their boundaries during the Countrywide & BOA acquisition (Feds and Treasury department forcing BOA into this acquisition); Top 5 Mortgage servicers cutting a deal with the Attorney Generals of 50 states to pay fines - Where is the money going?; and Britain changing there Pint (20 oz) to the Australian size (13 oz).

Good Morning...Here is today's market update from the Think Big Work Small Guys.  Today the boys bring up an interesting subject on whether the NAR should impliment Sellers Disclosure paperwork concerning Divorce.  Since a divorce could potentially cause problems in the transaction, hold up a closing, cost the Buyer money, and make the Agent liable - a safeguard should be put in place.  They also touch on BOA thinking they have resolved their issues by paying Freddie and Fannie $2.8 billion for bad loans.
Poll question:  Should the lising agent have to disclose if the sellers are divorced?
