Spotlight on Midtown Manhattan
Midtown Manhattan is the country’s largest commercial, entertainment, and media center. The northern border of Midtown is easily delineated as 59th Street, however the southern border is a bit more ambiguous. The border is considered by some to be 34th Street, though others considered the area to extend to 23rd or even 14th Street. From East to West, Midtown spans the entire island of Manhattan, being bordered by the East and Hudson Rivers.
