The Lassiter High School Trojan football team won their home opener last night with a big win over Sprayberry High by a score of 45-14. It was a hot, steamy night at "The Frank" as the crowd watched their Trojans roll to victory. Sprayberry looked tough early with their running game, but Lassiter took control in the 1st quarter. Both offense and defense played well and there were quite a few spectacular individual efforts. After a slow start with numerous penalties, Lassiter started to find their groove and never looked back.
