Sugar Land, Texas (suburb of Houston) has put up with the sound of train horns blowing all hours of the day and night! Well, after many years technology has finally caught up with the train. In the city of Sugar Land, all of the railroad crossings now have the new wayside horns. The train is not allowed to blow their horn since the new horns emit a narrow, quieter cone of sound directed at the intersection.
