I love trying out new places to eat and shop! I finally got a chance to stop at Atrevete Confections in downtown Montgomery, IL yesterday. My friends had been mentioning all the great sweets and coffees that they had a chance to enjoy and I had been feeling a little left out! Had their carmel latte with coconut milk....highly recommend it. Of course, then I tried two different macaroons, a croissant and a slice of lemon merengue pie!!! Sometimes when you least expect it you find a hidden gem in your own backyard. I have gone by this location for years and a variety of different restaurants have come and gone. So when a former manager of mine from my corporate days called me to have a friendly dinner and catch up on our lives I suggested we try Gray's Mill in Montgomery
