WORK OUT FOR FREE NEXT WEEK, MAY 11-17
 
If you've been putting off joining a gym, or want to make an extra push to get into "bathing suit shape" with summer approaching, now is the time to finally take action. May 11-17, 2009 is Get Active America!, the fitness industry's campaign to help more Americans get involved with fitness. It is also a great way for local gyms to reach out to the community. A win win situation for everyone. The event occurs every year for one week in May. Many local gyms across the country participate and offer a one week FREE membership. If you or someone you know has been considering getting in better shape, now is a great opportunity to visit a local gym and check out all the fun ( yes, exercise is a lot of fun!)  In 2008, tens of thousands of consumers visited the 800 participating clubs throughout the week and hopefully more will get involved this year.
