                                                                        Why buy now?Buying now makes more sense because the real estate market in Maine has had an obvious shift.  Sellers are more willing to reduce their prices, and give seller concessions if it is crucial to unloading their property.  The market has shifted so much in fact, that many buyers are starting to have many more choices than they did even six months ago.  This turn in the market is natural, appropriate and good for both buyers and sellers.  Why buy now?  Because buying now gives the buyer more power and more leverage in what has been commonly noted as a "sellers market" for the last few years.  Southern Maine is a great place to live, and the truth of the matter is that any time is a good time to buy.  Right now just looks particularly good because of the current market conditions. ... more
