This weekend my grandaughter came to visit.  One of the places we took her was to the Gumbo Limbo Nature Preserve which sits along the Intracoastal Waterway in Boca Raton.  Gumbo Limbo provides environmental education.  They have classes, workshops, field trips and research.
 
                                          
 
                                       
 
Feedings are at 2:30.  We watched as everyone crowded around and the person in charge explained about the animals and how they were fed and lived.  The babies here were about a year-and-a-half old. 
 

 
This is the turtle tank.  That turtle looks small, but I promise you he isn't!
                                         
 The Butterfly Garden leads down to the Intracoastal Waterway.

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Sunday 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
