What Is the 'Average' $ Per Square Foot Number for Sold Homes in Haywood County NC?
Responding to a question about what the price per square foot numbers were doing here in Haywood County NC considering our present residential real estate fiasco market conditions, I pulled a few recent numbers to provide an answer.
The last quarter of 2009, when compared to the same period in 2008 ~ the average price per square foot price in 2009 for the 190 sales was $115.09; down 14.62% from the same period in 2008. The sales to date (01/19) in 2010 compared to the same period last year ~ the average price per square foot for the 8 sales of $111.37 this year is down 7.10% from the same period in 2009.
