Martinez makes 'Money's' Top 100 Places to Live list
We've done it again in the CSRA area, Martinez, GA has made Money Magazines Top 100 list of best places to live in America.  Martinez ranked 76th on the list.  Just last year, Evans ranked 32nd but curiously failed to make the list this year.  According to the magazine news release, it took into consideration a sense of community, economic opportunities, racial diversity and good schools.  The list was whittled down from an initial list of 2, 876 communities. 
According to the magazine the population of Martines is 30,900 with a family median income of $73,696 and a home median pirce of $192,465.
That's great news for real estate.  If you've looked for homes in the Martinez area in the past year, you know that property values have increased.  For those of you that are thinking about selling, that's even better news.  Buyer's, you'll just pay a little more this year than last, but that's happening all over the CSRA, but prices are still excellent in this market.  Those of us that live here have known for a long time that our area is a great place to live and our property values are some of the best in the country.
