The $8000 Home Buyer Tax Credit is NOT Extended.
Just as I promised, I wanted to update you on this topic.  The bill to extend the tax credit for home buyers who had a contract by April 30th was not passed.  The Senate did not pass it by a vote of 57-41 just shy of the 60 votes that were needed to pass it.  This was the third time the Senate tried to pass it and is looking like it is the final attempt.  I will keep you updated if anything changes.
