It started to Rain , but the Sun came out ...or was it the Listing Agent?
So I get a phone call the other day responding to one of my ActiveRain Blogs regarding a new development I wrote about in my town of Huntersville, NC.
Her lease was coming up for renewal and she wanted to start looking for a home with her mom. So I quickly got her home criteria and set her up on Client Gateway, a marketing tool, that updates propective clients daily on propeties that meet their needs.
Within a week they found a the home they wanted to look at. So, I set the appointment and away we went. The home was listed at $190k and has been on the market for 250 days.
My clients fell in love and we immediately wrote an offer on the property. I was thinking this was the easiest and quickest deal I have ever done and all because of my ActiveRain blog. My clients were pre-approved and made a very fair offer of $180k. Now you would of thought they would of jumped on the offer and get back to us pretty quickly especially since it has been on the market for 250 days.
Now the catch is that the home had an executor and the listing agent informed ... more
