A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words!
After a recent search through several listings of homes for sale, I was struck by the lack of a true understanding that a picture really does speak all for itself.  As I was browsing through homes even at the highest end of the six digit range, I often found it very hard to see any home at all.  In fact it was truly difficult to look past the various styles of personality captured in the photos which only led me to wonder who currently lived there.  Some, even contained pictures of the homeowners in the listing photos which of course gave me first hand knowledge of exactly who did live there!  OMG!  From over bearing home furnishings to over crowded built-ins to homes hidden by trees and oh yeah, did I mention the startling combination of paint colors!!  Needless to say, if I were truly looking for a home I would never of made it to the virtual tour of many of these homes!  I must also add that even the most extravagantly decorated home still contained TOO MUCH PERSONALITY to ever see myself living there.  As quoted by many a stager, home staging is not the time to display your ... more
