Arizona homeowners may be able to avoid foreclosures - Fannie Mae is here to help


The Arizona 45+ and 55+ retirement communities have fared well when it comes to foreclosures, at least when comparing them to the greater Phoenix real estate market.  Last year the Del Webb Sun City Grand and Sun City West communities had just slightly over 5% of the homes sold that were foreclosures... compared to around 66% across the valley.

Even if we aren't personally facing foreclosure though, almost all of us have been touched by someone in our lives who is facing, or has faced, the prospect.
Fannie Mae has unrolled a new interactive website designed to educate and assist homeowners who are struggling with their mortgage payments.  The site, KnowYourOptions.com, outlines the choices available to homeowners and provides guidance on how they can contact and work with a mortgage company to find solutions.
