While you are there you won't want to miss this opportunity to view the collection of photographs from the Garland County Historical Society that is displayed daily at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
Some the new additions of photographs include: * Babe Ruth at the Hot Springs Country Club, circa 1923, with the Babe holding his golf club like a baseball bat. * Ruth drinking from a water pump at the Hot Springs Country Club, also circa 1923. * Ruth riding a horse at Oaklawn Jockey Club, also circa 1923. * Cy Young, the legendary baseball pitcher, March 23, 1907. This photo was taken during spring training for pitchers held in Whittington Park. At the time Young was the player/manager for the Boston Americans (later renamed the Boston Red Sox).
