LEFT BEHIND.  Those two words evoke sadness don't they?   No matter how positive you are LEFT BEHIND has a negative spin.  Yes it does.  Some of the saddest experiences I face as a Real Estate agent are trying to "fix" what someone has moved away and LEFT BEHIND.  Number 1 on the LEFT BEHIND list would have to be PETS.  Yes, although it is difficult for some of us to believe, many Sellers and Renters leave the house and leave the pet or pets too.  Many a dog and cat are left to fend for themselves.  What happens then?  The dog and cat wait patiently for the owners to return.  They always have before haven't they?  After a few days of no food and water they wonder to the neighbors hungry and confused  Usually the neighbors attempt to chase the pets away, sometimes they know the pets were left behind and sometimes they don't recognize the "Stray".  Animal control is called or worse, and you know the end of this story.  But there are many Real Estate agents who take in the pets left behind ... more
