What "ReallY" sells a Home?
This question often comes up in a lot of real estate conversations. While most people focus on the actual house itself; painting outside and inside, rearranging furniture, removing clutter, cleaning windows and appliances, updating kitchens and bathrooms; which is a "must" when you're serious about selling your home, all too often the outside of the house is overlooked.

Painting, pressure washing and clearing out the garage are obvious "no-brainers", but unfortunately not much attention is paid to the yard. If you are serious about selling and want to be one of the first options for buyers; I think putting some effort into updating the landscape goes a long way.
Trim overgrown trees and shrubs, add complimenting colors with flowers and repair cracks in the driveway or walkway. If a piece of brick, stone or tile is missing from the steps or porch it will need to be replaced. Updating outside lights, door knobs, mail boxes and house numbers also make a huge difference and speak volumes when it comes to attracting buyers.
