Thanksgiving - Really giving thanks
Thanksgiving and really giving thanks. Someone posted a prayer request on my facebook today about some troops that were taking heavy losses this week. I started to think how so many of us don't even think about it other than the news. I stopped and prayed for all our fighting men and women and asked God to bless and protect them and I prayed for peace. How often do we stop and pray for peace? It seems so vast a prayer yet who could accomplish it but God. I am so thankful that I am safe in my little home with my two loving dogs, that I am able to go and spend Thanksgiving Day with my daughter and her new husband in their new home. I'm grateful for my work, my health and my relationship with Jesus Christ.
It is a day of reflection and I am really giving thanks. God Bless and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you
