MUSIC FOR CHRISTMAS AND ADVENT
The Lamb
 
This is definitely not the typical Christmas music you hear playing on all the radio stations!  Sung by the Choir of King's College in Cambridge, England, "The Lamb" by John Tavener is an ethereal and haunting choral work. I read he wrote this in one afternoon for his nephew who was three years old at the time. It is composed from seven notes using William Blake's text "The Lamb". Only seven notes? I've sung this before but it's been a few years. I think I'll have to find the music and check that out.
