Miami-Dade County represents Homestead, Florida City North to Aventura, Miami Lakes. We have the Miami Dolphins football team, the Florida Marlins and The World Champion Miami Heat. The weather consists of a low of 59 and a high in the low 90's. We are a diverse area made up of all nationalities. Latin, Hatian American and more. We are boarded by the Atlantic Ocean to the East and the Everglades to the West. Local hot spots like Coconut Grove, South Beach, Bayside and more. Great parks a number one Zoo (Metro Zoo) and more outdoor activities than you heart can desire.
The Single Family market consisting of single family homes has seen a drop in 2006. We have a total of 11,652 active listings on the market ranging in price from $57,000 to a high of $26,600,000. We have seen 6,334 properties close since the first of January 2006. We currently show 1,807 pending sales and 5,071 properties that have expired off the MLS. This means they did not sell in an average six month period.
