Relocating to Hawaii? It's always a good idea to learn a little about the area you are moving to so I put together a little more about our island of Oahu. On the way to Mokuleia (Mo Koo Lay ee a) was the old Waialua (Why ah loo a) Sugar Mill. The Waialua Sugar Mill opened in 1898 and operated for 98 years before closing down operations on October 4, 1996. Currently, the Old Sugar Mill is like a little shopping mall. The picture to the left is the North Shore Soap Factory. Open9-5 m-s; 12-5 Sundays

Almost to the end of Farrington Hwy. is Kaena Point.
