Find the Best in Today
Are you tired of the cold winter weather yet?  In Colorado Springs, there is another round of snow forecast for this Friday.  Now, for those planning ski trips....snow is wonderful.  But, I don't have a ski trip planned.   Instead, I'm ready to start working in my garden.  I'm ready to see some spring flowers. 
However, I realize, we should all try to find the best in today.  We should try to enjoy the cool temperatures.  We should enjoy the beauty of a fresh snow.  In a few months, we will be looking for ways to cool down.  The following picture came to mind. 
This dog was cooling down at the Pawtoberfest's 5K race. The 5K was held last October at the America the Beautiful Park in Colorado Springs.  The race was raising funds for the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.  Over $85,000 was raised to help homeless animals.  Colorado Springs is a very pet friendly community.
