Hayesville, NC has a little of the "big city" going for it even out in the country. Bet you didn't know we had our very own Statue of Liberty here in the western North Carolina mountains. On your way down to the new Clay County Courthouse you'll get to see our country version of Lady Liberty watching over the fields.
Just another sight you'll see as you drive along the countryside and another reason we love living here!
