Frying Pan Farm Park In Fairfax, VA
Frying Pan Farm Park located in Fairfax County is a great place to take the kids for a day with the animals.                              

On Saturday, my boys and I had a great time riding the antique carousel, visiting the animals at the Kidwell Farm, and even milking a cow.

Admission to the park is free. The only costs are for the carousel and wagon rides.


During the wagon ride we took a tour of the historic farm ground and learned some history from the driver.
Frying Pan Farm Park is open daily from dawn to dusk; the Kidwell Farm hours are 9 to 5 daily.

We enjoyed a snack from the country store that sold farm items, of course, and other treats. When we needed a break, we relaxed on one of several picnic benches.
