The Mother Came Out In A Huff And Really Yelled At Me
Real estate brings the business world right to the seller's front door. The product IS the front door and the rest of the property. Sometimes it seems that this process is all too detached from the human side of life.
Jay Markanich, a home inspector from the other end of the country has captured my attention not only for his technical capabilities and his ability to present them in very understandable articles, but also for his humor and presentation of the light side of real life.

It started no differently than all home inspections.
I arrived early, put my tool kit on the front porch beside the door, and here the small hibiscus tree, and started looking at the outside of the house.
As I was walking off the front porch, the mother came out and, fairly viciously, attacked me.  I have never been treated like that before on a home inspection.
