Why did I Choose Real Estate?
Honestly, I don't think I chose real estate.  I think real estate chose me...
 
I'm the oldest of four children...four children born in four years!
I loved playing house with my baby dolls and mothering my baby siblings.  I could create a "home" from just about anything, anywhere.
 I loved doll houses and rearranging the furniture.   One of my fondest memories was receiving a Barbie dream house from my babysitter...I couldn't sleep the night I received it because I was so excited.
I not only enjoyed playing house, I enjoyed cleaning house too.
 It wasn't just my own house...I used to suggest to my friends that we organize their closets instead of playing outside...I couldn't understand why they didn't enjoy housework as much as I did.
In high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life...but I knew I wanted a home and babies.  I went to a business college, with hopes of doing something creative like advertising or decorating, and ended up working for an architect.
I was fascinated by architecture and thought I would enjoy the creativity and challenge of the profession, but after becoming pregnant, I quit my job to be a full time mom.
