As I arrived 5 minutes early to my scheduled appointment, I was excited, thrilled and ready-to-list-this-house! I only had to convince the seller to make the best choice. The night before I improved the listing presentation by making it specific to that property and printed it out in full color and bound it professionally.
 
I set-up my laptop on his dining room table and couldn't connect to the internet. What?! Oh no! I remained calm and quickly explained that everything was included in the presentation that was on-line. We thoroughly discussed the marketing / advertising plan for his home. It helped that previously we sold a home in the same neighborhood rather quickly at a great price.
 
I closed with saying that "I may not be the top producing agent in the area but I am an honest and hard-working agent that will get positive results!" A day later after meeting with another agent, the seller phoned to say that he chose me to represent him.
We had his home under contract in 3 days. Would he say he picked the right agent, even with no technology, no internet? Yes, and he did.
