Science Hill High School football: Friday nights in Johnson City Tennessee
Those of you who know me will expect this blog!( and will know more will be following) Science Hill High school football home opener was last night and the crowd was out. Science Hill won, 26-18 against Elizabethton High school.  It was an exciting game, the first half was back and forth, looked like it was going to be anyones game.  Science Hill pulled it out in the second half. Friday Nights in Johnson City Tennessee are packed with excitment this time of year.  Our community comes out in full force to support our local high school, Science Hill.  Last night was no exception, it was a full house.  And of course, Science Hills award winning marching band was out there as well.  Their program this year is "3D".  We only saw 2 movements of the show last night and hope we will see the whole program next week at homecoming. 
Another great thing that the Science Hill Hilltopper's do is participate in a city wide recycling program.  They bring this right to the football game and have volunteers walking through stadium several times during the evening collecting trash from spectators.  It has become a very exciting program and people respect and enjoy ... more
