Lose to Win
Many home sellers in today's market are struggling with the fact that their home is not worth what they hoped it would be. There is a psychological block in the mind of a seller which tells them that they just can't sell their home for less than what they paid for it. It can be a big shot to the ego. Pride kicks in and a defensive mode that limits a home seller from seeing the bigger picture becomes overwhelming.
It hurts! It's depressing! It's humiliating! It can make you feel like a failure! You fear judgement from others and the brutal judgement you have against yourself. You're afraid to let go of all the money you put down and all the payments you put into the home. Remember how long it took you to pick out colors and the weeks of painting? Remember furniture shopping for months trying to pick out all the perfect pieces for your new perfect home? Remember tearing out that old dated bathroom and turning it into a work of art?
