Today's Affirmation - 12/28/2011

Today I will stay focused on the actions I can control. With only four days left in the year 2011, I will keep my eyes focused on my goal. I was reminded about keeping that vision in sight on December 25, 2011. A horse in Collinsville, Texas jogged my memory – the art of discipline will actually help me to experience more spirited freedom. The one who listens well and stands at attention puts the other person at ease.

Obstacles are a way of life. If you maintain discipline and your vision is clear, nothing can get in your way. Nonverbal communication, such as, posture, facial expression, eye contact, gestures, and body movement strengthens your spoken image. Each day is a new day.
Quoting  Saint Francis of Assisi, "Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible."
There will always be visual distractions. Staying focused takes discipline. Self-discipline can help you to go further in life - it could also save your life. Be natural; be spontaneous. Vision has no boundaries and no limits.
 
 
Staying disciplined takes practice. I was gently reminded by these three beautiful horses to always be myself. Imitation lends itself to being not taken seriously. Always strive to be ... more
