What a great place to live and enjoy. I just did some research and we have a lot of fun and different things to do
 
1. Jetlev Southwest has water propelled Jet packs you can fly around the harbor 2. Easyride’s Back Alley Bicycles have surreys and tricycles and bikes for touring around the boardwalk 3. Duffy Electric Boat you can cruise the marina and see some famous homes of John Wayne’s Point and Nicholas Cages’ home 4. Davey’s Locker will take you on a Half or Full day fishing trip or whale watching 5. Catalina Express will take you for a day trip (or longer) to Catalina Island where you can see Wriggle Mansion and the Famous Casino 6. Main Street Surf and rent a Surf board, skateboard or skim board 7. or just lie on the beach and relax  
Not to mention shopping, restaurants, the Fun Zone
Disneyland, LegoLand, Knotts, and more. Why would you go anywhere else?
