Eliminating Inefficiencies in Real Estate - A ContestHow many of you can remember exactly where you were and what you were doing on April 22, 1970? I can. Strange you might say, but I was at an event that changed the way a new generation of Americans thought about the planet we live on and began to be concerned about how we were going to leave it for our children.



I was a high school student in New York City and attended the first Earth Day Celebration in Central Park. On that day I realized we all had to do our part, no matter how small, to change our habits. Those were the days of the big V-8 leaded gas guzzlers spewing noxious fumes into the atmosphere and factories polluting our waterways with their toxic waste. We had our work cut out for us. Now I’m no self professed tree hugger, but I have always tried to do my part. I remember the early days of recycling in NJ, we had 8 different bins in our garage for the different products.
