2012 Market Trends - West Central Michigan - February 2011 thru February 2012

The West Central Michigan area includes the counties of Lake, Newaygo, Mecosta and Osceola.

Things are looking up! Although the number of listings in the West Central Michigan area have gone down over the past year, the number of sold homes and pending sales have risen! Pending sales are up almost 11% through February 2012, and sold homes are up 3%! Not a staggering improvement, but a steady rise. This is an encouraging sign in our area that things are picking up, and hopefully the trend will not only continue, I hope to see it rise dramatically with this unbelievably warm spring weather!
